To highlight the modern aesthetic of Grand Designs, we recommended in-store locations adjacent to windows to allow light to be a key factor in the product bays. Using a diffused vinyl applied to the windows we created a more sophisticated environment. This was combined with bespoke wooden panels carrying the brand purpose to again reflect the range’s sustainable and tactile qualities.
As well as testing this out in the newly refitted Birstall store, we planned how all the other different store formats and sizes would use the kit - including locations where we couldn’t use a window and older, smaller formats.
The launch was a great success and plans to continue the rollout to further stores are in development.
